A powerful leader. I sat under Pastor Yeager and Pastor Ron Blanc's ministry at First Baptist Church Modesto in through the early 80's and late 80's. I believe that Pastor Bill Yaegar has provided a powerful example both in print and in his personal life of ministry. The book clearly lays out the importance of dynamic shepherding and servant leadership on the part of the senior pastor of a church. One of the key roles of the pastor is the set the positive environment for God's work to happen. If the pastor is weak and his umbrella is full of holes then the church will suffer. I appreciate a man willing to walk the way he talks. His legacy of ministry lives on in the books that he wrote in the hearts of those who served under him.
