This is a highly entertaining coming of age martial arts biography about a karate crazed teen who discovers that his martial arts heroes are deep into drug smuggling, deviant sex, and murder.
John Graden started karate in 1974 and knew from the first class that he was going to do this for his entire life. What he didn't expect was to discover that his martial arts instructors were involved in serious criminal activity.
Rather than leave the martial arts school, Graden kept doing what he had since his first karate class. He continued to try to be just like his instructors.
