Pretty good read from another perspective.

I've read plenty of Christian response books on Islam, but this was different from any I've read before as it's written by a Nigerian. The author discusses and views Islam first through the lens of what had been occuring in Nigeria, then expands to Europe and the US. Much of what I read wasn't anything new, but I did learn a few new facts. That combined with Moshay's perspective and assessments of Islam's future make it a very good read, especially considering that the book was written a good decade before 9-11. In light of current issues and 9-11, some of Moshay's points are spot on, if not almost prophetic! That being said, there were some aspects of the book that I felt didn't help his argument. I can't recall them, but I felt unsure of the validity of some of the author's source material. Also, some of the arguments made were strawmen or anecdotes. While appealing on an emotional level, they aren't good for a strong logical argument if the intent of the book is to be read by Muslims. On the whole, a good book with some good arguments and points that'd make any Muslim willing to critique their religion, actually do so. But I think as with most non-Islamic books critiquing Islam, few if any Muslims will read past the first few pages before feeling so offended, slighted and incited "to violence and/or hatred" towards Christianity; sticking their feet further into Islam out of stone-headed deafness.

Exactly!! Who IS this Allah?

People like President George W. Bush, the Pope, and others of the modern, ecumenical, we-are-all-one movement, would like to have the simple maroons in America believe that 'we all worship the same God.' Well guess what! Surprise, surprise! We do not. Mr. Moshay gives a very good analysis of just who this Allah is---the south Arabian moon deity---one of 362 idols in the Kaabah. Allah was well known before Islam began in the 7th century. It was Mohammed who elevated this one into the supreme deity of Islam. And why is the crescent MOON used throughout the Muslim world? Every Muslim needs to read this book. So does the ecumenical crowd. Cats are dogs in the interest of harmony and goodwill. This book shows the truth.

G. Moshay

Moshay uses great comparisons when it comes to Jesus and Allah. He uses both the Bible and the Quran to bring up strong points. I read the whole book within 2 hours, you won't put it down either.
