Realizing how much our culture influences us is like trying to tell a fish it is wet. If we are not careful we will let cultural voices define what it means to be a follower of Christ. When we allow God's Word to fill us richly we begin to understand who we are in Him. This 28-day devotional focuses on what the Bible tells us about our identity. It walks primarily through the book of Ephesians to discover what an incredible work of grace and love God did to make us His own. Stop letting others define what it means to be a follower of Jesus. The devotional has a brief introduction which explains how to use it most effectively. Along with daily verses, and a brief writing about those verses there is a section for sacred reading, which is combining the day's verse with prayer and meditation. Every 7-days there is a Sabbath devotion. This is where the reader will reflect on the past weeks readings and on what God has shown him. This devotional can be done alone or with a group. My hope is that God uses this simple tool to break through into areas that need a touch grace, truth and love which will bring lasting transformation. The ultimate goal from any study is the reader will love God more and walk closer with Him.
