It isn't easy being white in Good Luck, Maryland during the "keepin' it real 1990's." When Craig Harmon's middle-school report on Martin Luther King Jr. is misinterpreted, its author is brutalized by schoolmate Navaras. Rumors spread, and Craig is labelled a racist overnight.
School is out, but rarely are such accusations buried . . .
As summer ends and freshman year approaches, Craig finds himself absorbed by the hardcore punk scene. Finding his own voice, he establishes an independent zine, and finally has a platform to stand up for himself. Living in a region where whites are sparse, Craig christens his group of misfits "The Minorities".
As Craig navigates a complicated labyrinth of love with his girlfriend Tiffany, he'll also need to settle things with Navaras once and for all.
