The Whitaker Book of Poetry is a collection of poems written by a family that includes three adults and seven children, ages 8 - 14. Four of the seven youth contributed original artworks contained within. The family honors the memory of their mother and grandmother, the late Barbara A. Whitaker-Jones by living their family legacy with the collective stroke of their pens. With legacy in mind, a portion of each purchase assist with the establishment of both a scholarship fund supporting young people interested in college as well as providing grants to young entrepreneurs. Poems are sectioned into three categories: Faith, Family & Friends, Love, and Life.
