Haunted House/Witch novel

This was a haunted house/witch story as only Amelia Cognet can carry off. River is desperate for a fresh start so she took a housemaid job in an isolated mansion. Even though she wasn't supposed to, she befriends the son, Dorian Blackwell. Being blind, Dorian requires an aide and eventually River becomes that aide. However, people keep disappearing and strange things keep happening. Something sinister is definitely going on and River realizes if she doesn't solve this mystery, she could be the next victim. Definitely kept me reading late into the night.
