Whispers in the Hollow is a literary horror novel that explores the intersection of spiritual gifts, institutional corruption, and women's resistance against systemic violence. Set primarily in Appalachia, the story follows Tibby Whitlock, a woman who inherits a spiritual gift called "the knowing" from her grandmother-a sensitivity that allows her to perceive truths others cannot see. When Tibby marries Dr. Frank Holloway, believing him to be her soulmate, she discovers he is part of the "Hollow Court," a network of elite men who hunt, murder, and ritually harvest spiritually gifted women.
