Whiskey and Friends

Whiskey Mattimoe could be me. It seems as though whatever she does, no matter how good the intention, something goes wrong. From showing her old bra to TRYING to keep her dog from stealing purses and tieras, things just seem to go awry for her. When she is given the opportunity to sell an expensive HAUNTED mansion, she has some concern, but forges ahead. Wonderful characters who feel like real old friends pepper this exciting novel with fun and frolic! And, you will never believe how it all ends! Hold on for a fun ride. I know you will enjoy it!

Yea for Whiskey

I truly enjoyed this book. Abra starts the action off at the Miss Blossom pageant and there is never a dull moment. Whiskey stumbles into a mystery surrounding the Miss Blossom pageant when Abra takes the crown and the story moves along quickly and keeps you guessing. Avery is back with Nash as are Odetta, Jenks and who can forget Roscoe, who is hot on the trail of Abra, and the rest of the gang. There are some new chracters too to keep you guessing. Whiskey has a nice moment in the end as well so I say good for her. Nina Wright has done it again.

Whiskey is back!

Whiskey and Abra are back for another funny mystery. Once again, the antics of Abra and her canine associates steal the book. In a surprising yet welcomed turn, Whiskey does move on with her life after the death of her beloved Leo by deepening her relationship with the local judge. Abra, on the hand, continues to treat everyone but male dogs with disrespect and aloofness. Her reputation for being a thief has grown. Prince Harry also refused to be potty trained--peeing on everything in sight except fire hydrants and trees. I love this series. It is one of the top five book series I've had the pleasure of reading and rereading. However, start with the first book, Whiskey on the Rocks and then the second, Whiskey Straight Up. You'll understand Abra better, who, of course, is the star of the books.

Hilarious mystery.

A wonderful cast of characters, Whiskey's hilarious & awkward situations, a very clever Afghan Hound, adventure and mystery make this a truly entertaining read. "Whiskey & Tonic", the 3rd in the series of Whiskey Mattimore Mysteries, is Ms. Wright's best yet. The ending makes one speculate on what may come in her forthcoming "Whiskey & Water".

Whiskey's Latest is Funnier and More Suspenseful Than Ever

If you like humor with your mystery, you'll feel right at home with the Whiskey Mattimoe series. And this, the third book, is the best one so far. Even if you haven't yet met the locals in Magnet Springs, Michigan, you'll feel like you've known them forever.
