Faith Brewington is a Southern girl raised on her father's southern plantation in Georgia. Her mother died when she was a young girl. Her cousin traveled to New Mexico in search of a different life and married a Texas Ranger. Julie's mother died and the attorney needs to get a message to cousin Julie. Faith decides she will travel to New Mexico to find her cousin and enlists the company of her slave friend. They meet the handsome Cody Patton along the way and all agree to travel to New Mexico together. Outlaws, Indians and wolves intervene to make their lives more difficult and cause Faith to use all of her skills to stay alive.
