Sucker for romance.

I'm such a sucker for romance and this one did not disappoint. Although the author gives her name as Mary Lynn, I've come to find out it is the work of Marilyn Lee, an author that I enjoy reading.

Where You Find It entertaing

I did read other reviews but found I had to check it out for myself. Yes the heroine Jennifer was a little controlling...I am woman I can do it all on my own, and part of me admired her for it. However Mick was the man. He didn't let her dictate the movement of the relationship. Okay she broke it off but I somehow had faith my Mick would wear her down, boy did he. The other charcters were wonderful support in the story. Her little girl who drew them together and her best friend telling GF how it is. Love when a GF honestly tells the other one they are stuck on stupid, it just tickles me. Well the book satifised this romantic reader, and I'm very pleased I purchased this book.

Great Read!

This is one of the best interracial books that I have ever read! It was a real story and the charcters were off the hook! It was more than worth the purchase!

An absolute favorite of mine!!

I absolutely loved this book; I have reread it several times it is the story of Jennifer and Mick. From the start the attraction between the two surprises them both with it's intensity as they are complete strangers whose first encounter is on a train as they are on their way to work. The attraction is so strong that Jennifer finds herself almost about to kiss a stranger which clearly shocks her as Mick is a white man. However the two meet up again through Jennifer's daughter who wants her mommy to meet new friend from the park who of course turns out to be the man, Jennifer can't stop thinking about. Though the relationship is something that they both want it is Jennifer's own insecurities that put it at risk. Not to fear though, it is through Mick's perseverance that Jennifer realizes that he truly loves her and won't settle for anything less than all of her love in return. Note: The book cover surprised me as the cover picture tends to indicate that both main characters are Caucasian which is not the case. Where You Find it is one of the best IR books that I have come across and I proudly add it to my collection.

Where you find it.....EXCELLENT!!!!

At first, I didn't realize this book was IR (BW/WM)and I almost didn't purchase it, but I'm so happy that I did. Jennifer Smallwood, is an attractive smart African American woman, who's first meeting with handsome successful Mick Rielly happens when she sits beside him on a train on the way to work. She doesn't think the white man sitting beside her on the train is interested, but he is. At their first encounter they almost kiss each other which shocks Jennifer, but she doesn't do those kinds of things at all. Running off the train, she tries not to look back at the attractive stranger, yet curosity gets the better of her and she does, only to find that he is watching her too. Going on with her day, she forgets all about the "stranger." Later that night her daughter wants her too meet the friend she always talking to at the park, but Jennifer isn't really interested in meeting in any of her little girl's eldery friends. But giving in she tells Tia to invite the man over for dinner. Mick Reilly can't get his mind off the gorgeous black woman that sat beside him on the train. He wondered if he saw her would she go out on a date with him. Even though, most of his friends disapprove he has always be attracted to black women. He didn't mind his job, but the best part of his day was going to the park and talking with Tia. The adorable little girl who came there. Jennifer and Mick are surprised when they meet again over dinner. He asks her out on a real date, but Jennifer turns in down not thinking it would be a very good idea. However, Mick is very determined to get to know Jennifer in every sense that there is. Jennifer has a hard time overcoming her insecurities about dating a white man and wonders if he's only after one thing. The couple faces so many problems and most of them come from Jennifer, but this book is so wonderful and romantic. Mick doesn't give up trying to make Jennifer understand how much she means to him. Where You Find it is an amazing book for anyone who wants to read a funy, well-written IR romance. IR are becoming more popular and this is one you want to have in you TBR (To Be Read) pile and for anyone who wants a HEA (Happy Ever After) ending.
