Where Water Rises
Sometimes, the river can take more from us than our lives; it can take our hearts. The force of the Texas River is seldom understood, but Bill knows it far too well. After Sara's accident and disappearance, Chris turns to alcohol, and Catherine turns to Bill, but they never let go of each other or their friendship. Catherine never gives up believing and hoping that Sara is still alive, and Chris never stops blaming himself. After the death of his Grandfather, everyone is afraid Chris will be lost forever. Just as Chris starts to get his life back together and falls for a girl from New York, something miraculous happens. But when Chris's plane disappears from the radar, Catherine and Bill worry that he may not have survived long enough to see the miracle.
