Where the wind blows is about Mani, the youngest son of King Obidike, Igwe 1 of Enu Ani, whose elder brothers and the chief priest accuse of witchcraft and cause the community to banish. But Mani finds favor of the gods in exile. After 35 years, operating in a new name as Obiozo, he attains fame in herbal healing. Warriors from Enu Ani arrive and seek his service to heal their ailing king. He follows them home. The chief priest reveals Obiozo's identity, and the people crown him king.
