Where the Flame Sleeps

One act of mercy binds Lyra and a guarded Fae to a journey through fading magic, buried truths, and a destiny neither is ready to claim.

In a quiet border town where Fae are feared and magic is fading, Lyra survives by keeping her head down.

Until one night, she doesn't.

When she frees a wounded Fae from the stocks, she expects him to disappear back into the forest and out of her life.

Instead, her act of mercy binds her to a bitter, distrustful Fae who carries secrets he cannot outrun.

What begins as a simple escape becomes a journey into the uneasy borderlands between human and Fae realms, where old magic flickers and long-buried truths wait to be uncovered. As their reluctant alliance deepens, Lyra must decide whether she is merely helping him survive or stepping into a fate that will bind them both.

As allies and enemies blur and legends take on new meaning, Lyra begins to question everything she thought she knew about herself and the role she is meant to play.

Some choices change a single life. Others reveal the path you were meant to walk all along.
