Personal and Intimate View of Apartheid

In addition to being an anti-apartheid activist, the author Norma Kitson is an excellent writer of prose. In novel-like writing, she tells us about her life in South Africa and England as a committed fighter against apartheid. The pictures inside lend a lot of life to the prose. I give it one star less than perfect because it is a bit long-winded in parts.
