Lena Matthews is looking for a fresh start. It's been two years since she faced a tragic loss. Grief still consumes her and she's ready to leave town, but first she needs some extra cash. She agrees to dog sit in a secluded cabin mansion in a small town outside of Buffalo. She believes it will be a peaceful week with a furry companion but danger creeps in as a winter storm brews and isolation sets in. She starts feel as if something off and even questions her own sanity as past traumas surface. The golden retriever she is caring for, Maple, keeps waiting by the shed with a faulty light while Lena tries to settle her anxiety with a glass of wine.
