This book is a true story about Allister's troubling experiences in a Japanese POW camp during ww2. Not only does this book give the reader a step by step account of the occurances that took place within the camp but also Allister's psychological review of the other men, along with himself during the ordeal. The man is a fascinating story teller and very liberal in his overlook of what took place. The best part of this book was that it really brought me down to reality as far as POW life was while at the same time, causing me to laugh out loud. better than King Rat and true.
