Condition of book was very poor.

Very disappointed! Got this for my son’s birthday and made sure to buy the “very good” copy. 2 of the pages were torn out (it’s a flip book.). I do understand second hand books are not perfect, but if the entire point of the book is a flip book and two pages are torn out, please don’t list it as in very good condition.

wonderful birthday present

I bought this book for my son a few months prior to his first birthday to help him learn about the birthday celebration. I also didn't want him to be frightened at his first birthday party with everyone singing to him, which is a lot of stimuli for a baby, so this book helped prepare him. This book is very colorful, filled with sparkley foiled pages and lots of cute surprises. It quickly became one of his favorite stories to read and was a well loved book. I now buy it as a first birthday gift for all the babies in our life. Karen Katz has yet again created a delightful book filled with whimisical illustrations that capture a baby's attention. The "lift the flaps" concept is wonderful for babies and toddlers. This board book is sturdy, but not indestructible. The flaps are glued on, so they can be torn off, but they do repair reasonably well. A great addition to baby's library!

Great for Baby's 1st Birthday

This is an adorable book and very fun to read with your baby turning 1. Our baby loves it. We were very happy to find this. We enjoyed preparing baby for her birthday by reading this to her. It's very sweet.

Great Books

My daughter loves lift-a-flap books, and Karen Katz's are great. She has really enjoyed reading this new book which thankfully has replaced reading Where Are Baby's Easter Eggs? every day.

My son has loved these flip books since he was 3 months old and he is now 1 year old and still loves them!
