The inspiration behind this book is my darling daughter. After having taught children of all ages both in the USA and in China, I've developed a profound passion for traveling and for teaching the Spanish language. Upon seeing the significance of having a culturally rich and globally interconnected life, I see great value in representing the lived experience of those who seek to expand themselves beyond their comfort zones. After having my daughter, I decided to promote the importance of early exposure to cultural, ethnic, linguistic values and so much more that one gains from exploring foreign spaces and perspectives.
