Where Faith Stands Alone

That because God's faith in himself stood alone at creation, faith standing alone apart from works has always been the necessary beginning of man's relationship with God. A place where the vision of heaven is placed far above the defiled and polluted actions of men. The goal has always been to rescue the purposes of God from religious men who trampled them under their feet.
In this, Martin Luther was correct. Faith must stand alone.
A titanic shift has occurred since the cross. Christ has come to move us out of servant status, from subjecting ourselves to laws designed to control sin and into a life as sons.
We are called to become believers fully integrated into the faith, belonging to Christ, and not leaving the plantation at night to return once more to grubby homes and hard beds. We will say the words to the open heavens. Standing in our gardens, made alive again by the Spirit of God, we will say, "By the blood of the Lamb, we will grow holy things."
