Where Did You Grow Up?

: I live out in the Proverbial middle of nowhere one hundred and twenty-five miles from a stoplight in three directions! So, when people discover Serenidad Gallery - Fine Art and Antiques, they may come in the door with a question mark over their heads! They ask me: "Are you from here?" or "Where did you grow up?' and even "Why are you here?" I have a bit of a spiel to answer these questions based on their time and attention span. Finally, I decided to write a book to tell how we came here from California in 1991 and how my art career developed over the course of my life. Mostly it is about the Lord's plans for us and his guidance and provisioning over my more than 80 years of life! This book has many chapters and I put a zinger in each one, so that the reader can say, I did not see that coming! Well, neither did I. I guess that is life! I hope you enjoy my journey and how my art is intricately interwoven into my life story.
