I dropped to my knees, working to catch my breath. My damp hair fell in front of my eyes. I watched as red crimson dripped to the shower floor. Touching my face, I realized tears of blood stained my face and started to stain the floor of the shower.

"What...?" I questioned in confusion. I looked up at the water that cascaded over me then back down at my hands that were stained with my blood. The water washed it away down the drain where it swirled up and disappeared. My head felt heavy, and my vision started to blur. "Not again... I do not have time for this. I must find Clara." Slowly, I felt myself slip under no matter how hard I worked to fight against it. My ring gave a soft glow and Amethyst came out and started to nudge at me and tugged at my arm to move. Supporting me, he helped me to stand again. I could hear the concerned whimpers coming from him over my state. I had to admit I was worried as well. I have not faced something like this before and to say the least, it was making me question just how long I was going to last.
