Creative and Fantastic

Synopsis: Amyrah has lived in darkness her entire life, as everyone else in the Vale has. Light only comes from bioluminescent mushrooms and hearth fires… And the magical, bright creatures that occasionally show up, only to be hunted down and sacrificed to appease the darkness. But when Amyrah discovered that she also has the gift of light, her life now courses a different journey. One where her life, and the lives of those who believe, and in deathly peril. Can she survive? Can the darkness be overcome? My take: the Biblical, Christian message in this story is strong (which I love). Each character developed and grew. And there was a pleasant sprinkling of action throughout. This book is writing with multiple points of view, which can be slightly confusing at first, but is easy to sort out after the first few chapters. There is an underlying romantic subplot, but it’s very innocent (and clean for everyone who’s looking for that kind of read). But it definitely comes second to the Christian message that shines bright by the end. I really enjoyed this book! Got it read in under 24hrs! And I’m looking forward to when the next one releases! Side note: this is one of the prettiest covers I’ve ever seen
