This is one of my favorite books. When I need to to know where God is, I often return to this book. Michelle McKinney Hammond, connects the stories and examples in God's word to todays issues of lonliness and feeling unloved, in a way that you truly can feel the presence of God. She shows just how relevent and timely the Word of God is for every generation, situation and time.

Uplifting book for time of lonelyness and desire for God.

I met Michelle McKinney Hammond few weeks ago when she visited the church I attend. She was there for a seminar which completely enlightened my mind on the depth of this young lady's knowledge on Men/Women affair. A Great way to relate to some bible stories!!

If you ever have trouble relating to bible times & people thinking it was easier for them, times were different etc..this is the read for you. The book is a great book to open up your mind and a peek into the thoughts of different people in the bible. Some insight as to what they may have been thinking and how like us they would have internal issues with what they knew they should do & what they wanted to do. They were regular people, they did not act w/out question or hesitation, they wondered where God was when they needed him, but they did what he willed, and that is where the growth & blessing comes.

Wonderful, but be aware

This book is absolutely wonderful. Full of devotions that will comfort you during some very hard and puzzling times. However, you should know this is the author's book "His Love Always Finds Me" under a new title. There is no indication of this on the cover. If you are a McKinney-Hammond fan you may purchase it without using the "Look Inside" feature and not realize it until you get it home and read the the "formally" caption on the page with the library information! It happened to a friend which is how I got the book! But overall, for content, purchase it under either title and you'll be blessed.
