After hearing Mr. Williford speak, I bought his book. It is simply hilarious! I thought it would take a couple of weeks to finish, but I read deep into two nights. His unique and effective style of telling a story made me laugh out loud A LOT!I'm only sad there's not another book of his like this to read.If you get a chance, hear him speak. It makes the book even funnier.

I bought this book because of a recommendation from a friend. I wasn't really expecting much because I had never heard of Mr. Williford. I can assure you that that will shortly change. Steve Williford is a refreshingly witty, honest, and clever writer who has been able to take those little embarassing moments in our life that we would rather forget and offer them up as a sort of cartharsis to our uncomfortable memory of them. No one is sacred not even himself. He spins tale after tale reminding us that everyone is human and we can gain solace in the knowledge that we are not the only ones that do stupid things from time to time. This is the first book that I have read in a long time that had me in stiches from cover to cover. Highly recommended!

Dave Barry-esque humor by an author we should encourage

Mr. Williford is a hilarious writer. I found a copy of his book at a garage sale and was glued to it until i finished it. Couldn't put it down except to get a drink because i laughed so hard. Should you like Dave Barry you will adore this.
