"When my father passed away, a friend gave me When Will I Stop Hurting? It was such a help to me, that whenever I know someone who loses a loved one, I send them this book to read." Since its 1987 release, When Will I Stop Hurting? has received praise like this from readers grateful for June Cerza Kolf's understanding and beneficial guidance. With almost 70,000 copies in print, this small but powerful book has been a boon to many wounded souls. Readers have found in Kolf a gentle guide to lead them through the stages of grief and eventually the healing process. This new edition of her book is revised and updated and includes a study guide ideal for bereavement groups.
Although a short read,I was amazed how this book helps one understand the stages of grief. Being a skeptical person I was surprised how the book put deep thoughts into words. I even felt better after reading the first 10 pages! Nothing can ever replace a loved one. But, it is better to understand one's own feelings to be able to enjoy life more. Cheapest and best advice I have ever received.

We lost our beloved 24 year-old son recently. Ms. Kolf's words have provided comfort and understanding where none seems possible. I would highly recommend this book to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one.
A Wonderful Book

I've never written a review on a book before, but feel so strongly about this book that I'm taking the time to do so. My father died suddenly last fall and I purchased this book for myself, my mother, sisters and other family members. We all found great comfort in Ms. Kolf's words. It is a book you can pick up and read any chapter at any time. It is an easy read. I found myself reading and re-reading it night after night to get through those most difficult moments. Now, I give this book to others when they suffer a loss, and everyone I've given this to tells me how helpful this book is to them, too, in dealing with their heartache.
Good advice for getting through a tough time!

When my Mother passed away, a friend gave me this book to read. It was such a help to me, I gave it to my brother to read also. Since then, whenever we know someone who losses a loved one, we send them this book. Everyone has always come back and said what a help it was to them. If someone you know needs comfort, send them this book!
