A dark shadow stands gazing out of the upper floor window of an abandoned building in the middle of town. His piercing red eyes gaze outward following the little SUV, slowly navigating the streets below. Its eyes narrow in anger as three of Heaven's soldiers, drifting along near the SUV, come into view. The demon recognizes the angels can only mean one thing; Christians are in town. The demon watches as they pass, aware that the angels can feel his presence. He steps back away from the window, turning toward several others in the room. "The Ruler in Heaven has sent Christians into my town." His fists clench, causing the others to tense, waiting for his wrath. "I will not allow this. Move out to make sure they are not planning to remain." The shadowy figure turns back to the window as the others explode out of the room in search of the Christians. A smile begins to slowly cover its face as sharp fangs come into view and a bellowing laugh fills the room, "Yes, this is my town."Jake and Renee Lewis are a young couple searching for a quiet community for a new beginning. After years of what seems like constant attack, the idea of moving to a small town in the middle of Kansas is very appealing. They visit the quaint, attractive town, unaware of the battle brewing around them. Dark forces are determined to prevent them from moving to Parker, Kansas, a seemingly quiet little community in the middle of the state. Known for its oil, cattle, and farming, its inhabitants have existed for the last century, totally unaware of the dark residents watching over them. Now, a clash seems eminent. Christians are moving to town, with the protection of the God of Heaven. Two heavenly hosts, Alexander and Joshua, are determined to shield the young couple from the sinister residents living in the shadows who wish to prevent their staying, and will stop at nothing to force them out. Will Jake and Renee stand firm as the evil forces attack? Can the angels from Heaven turn the tide of the evil influencing this sleepy little town? Or will the enemy prevail, bringing down the Christians, forcing them to flee?
