All Elijah has ever known is the darkness of underground. For generations, he and his family have been forced to live unseen in the dirty and smoke-filled city called the Blight after a war divided their world into three different cities - one underground, one aboveground, and one within the sky. With the air in the Blight getting thicker and the temperatures rising, it's obvious that the people of their city won't last much longer. The more horrors he witnesses, the more he longs to return to the Blight. But after uncovering a morbid truth deep in the heart of the city, he isn't sure if he'll ever get the chance to return home. Elijah is forced to face parts of himself he didn't know existed and fight the inconceivable all while trying to find a way to save his city and finish what he started. No living thing deserves to be buried. Elijah will make sure of that - even if Silverstone destroys him completely in the process.
