Our minds are complicated. Threads of imagination, hope, fear and desire weave together to create this great mass of thought and emotion. When we say we are thinking of the solution, each and every strand so tightly coiled in our brain begins to unravel as we wonder where the solution is. Does it lie in fear? Desire? Does it overlap among two opposing strands? We are finding the solution. With each search, we go deeper into our brain, to the very ends of the strands. We find some knots along the way from good memories. Bad memories. Some we try so hard to untie, but they remain firm. They are stubborn. Like us. And so our stubborn selves find the solution hidden along the edges of the strand. Hanging on by the very ends in hopes that it doesn't fall off into the void of forget that seems to be taking up more and more space. Now, with the solution in our grasp, we struggle to weave back our now uncoiled brain. Sometimes, the solution is so far deep, so on the edge, that we simply cannot weave our threads back together. Our brain becomes a useless pile of threads. It is at this moment, when our minds can take no more. No more thinking. No more finding. It is at this moment, when we must search for our answers elsewhere.
