When people are animals

It is a small children book on the myth of Chumash Indians of California condensed from their oral tradition when elders told the young and old around camp fire in instruction and heritage. These fancy stories share the adventures of Coyote and his friends Chumash believed once in human form. However after the arrival of Europeans, they looked down upon the tribal people as inferior savages and should be slaves or exterminated in Manifest Destiny. It was when people are worse than animals! This book help remember Chumash culture and tradition and should be classified as American myth.
