When Somebody Loves You Back...You Don't Know How To Act!

Mr. Darius definitely didn't know how to act, or how to love! ...is all I can say. From this day forward, I WILL be purchasing all of Mary Monroe's books! This was a very good read. Some parts were a little unrealistic, but they fit the story line perfectly. What I liked about the book was that you didn't have to have read any of the other books belonging to the series in order to obtain a thorough knowledge of what's going on here. All of the characters were well defined and gave you a great understanding of their personalities. I totally disagree with the other reviewers on this issue. KEEP WRITING MARY!

No matter how many books I read of Mary's I NEVER tire of her characters! And this book is no exception! Good work, Mary! You go, Girl!

A Winner

I enjoyed this book, it was on the same high scale as the others. I think she could of extended the ending a little, it seems that everything was kind of thrown in there, just to end the book. But it is definitely worth its 5-star rating. And I agree, please try not to summarize the book in your reviews. I went to read the reviews before I bought the book and was disappointed because the review told of some of the surprises that awaits. It, however, didn't discourage me from purchasing the book.

Superb way to end a series!!!!

i read this book in 2 days i was like what? who? where and whoa!!! the entire time. Mary really out did herself with giving closure to this series. i felt bad about wellington but then it's kind hard after seeing how he was carrying on and telling Jada that Melanie was his soul mate too. then darius finally accepting responsibility was touching especially when he found out about his son not being dead i was proud of him. even though Mary is saying that she's through with this series i see a lot more drama to unfold. maybe once she's put out a few other books she'll give us some more of our beloved darius, jada, melanie, darrell, kevin, simone, ashlee, fancy and the rest of the crew. i loved this series and may start from the beginning and work my way ack up to this one. i'm just sad wellington won't be active anymore. but we still have weelington jr and melanie's sassy daughter to contend with so come on mary give us more, more more!!!! lesley hal author of... Can't wait for the last book!!

When Somebody Loves You Back efficiently wrapped up the storyline to this point. I read it in 2 days, and really enjoyed it. This book has me wanting more, but I have a bad feeling it will be a while before book 7 is released. I enjoyed how each character's story ended, but hated Wellington in the end. Jada got such a bad rep from everyone about her past decisions, while Wellington lived like a king trying to be a "ladie's man". I wish death on no one, but his end was fitting because of his vast wrong-doings. Darrius and Fancy learned so much about life and grew together as a couple. Ashlee's storyline was interesting, and I would have liked more detail in that area. Overall, it was great, and a must read for all M.B.M fans!
