Who knew?

This is a remarkable collection of cameo biographys of Scottish people whose influnces on our world are ongoing. Many of the names are familiar and I partucularly like having them placed in their chronological places with other familiar names and events. I borrowed this book along with HOW THE SCOT'S iNVENTED THE MODERN WORLD, by Arthur Herman. Before I was finished reading them I knew I had to have my own copies. The information contained will provide direction to further reading/research for more specifics on different individual.
