Parents grieving the loss of an unborn child will find heartfelt hope and encouragement in the author's personal story of God's healing presence in the midst of her pain. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I have read a lot of book on miscarriage. I have lost 3 babies in a year and this book brought such emotions. The author was honest and I loved the way she found scriptures to help fit the feelings I have been feeling. I will have to say my faith had been shaken. Once I read When Mourning Breaks it gave me back my faith and I know that I am loved by God.
Help in my time of grief

This book was given to me shortly after I miscarried early in my first pregnancy. Although my experience was different than the author's, our feelings and heartache were the same. This book is Christianity based, and offers scripture verses and prayer. Although I was too grieve-striken to read the spiritual parts during my first reading, I found the author's personal stories of her silent grieving through everyday life to be comforting. This book includes initial reactions of learning about the miscarriage, fear, her personal mourning process, other people's reactions (including spouse and friends), and hope. What I appreciated about the book was the author leading me through the daily hardships that the author faced when trying to recover from her grief. This book comforted me in knowing I am not the only one. It tells how others "forget" the miscarriage or choose not to speak of it when the author needs support and finds none. This book helped me a great deal and was inspiring to learn how someone else lived through this painful time, gaining strength through her belief in God.
