"When in Lewes" is a collection of poetry designed to both preserve the poet's memories of his experiences in the small, yet wonderful town of Lewes while he was studying abroad in England, and to share these experiences, through rhyme and vivid imagery. Through "When in Lewes," Joseph Cannizzo Jr. captures the ethereal and otherworldly beauty of the English countryside, the quaint and curious charm of English custom through the eyes of an intrigued foreigner, and the rich and varied history which lives beneath the surface of the town of Lewes. "When in Lewes" is Joseph Cannizzo Jr.'s first work of poetry. He is currently a Political Science student at Rutgers University, with aspirations to a future in both Law and creative writing.
