This book is really a good way to tell about your feelings when you're five years old. First, I didn't know it was also appeared in an english version or other languages. And when I read this book, I got tears in my eyes because of the rabbits you can imagine how joeri felt when his brother died. It's a real 'catchy' book and very friendly for children and their connection to death. I would recommend this book to other children or older children! Love, Claartje
For A Little Brother

A wonderful therapy for a five year old and his family. This was a brother's way to deal with the questions and angers which arose after the illness and death of his two year old brother. Being the father of a 4 and a half year old, I could appreciate they way the story was written from the mind of a child. Children are so honest about expressing their thoughts if you take the time to ask questions and listen. The illustrations work well to show the situations (dad drew what his son instructed). This was created as a private story by a father and son to help them deal with the tragedy of their loss, As such it is more like a glimpse into a private diary. It is a wonderful, simple story, which should help raise some questions and start a dialogue between the family. What a gentle tribute to the memory of a little brother.
