When His Mistress Is Porn: The testimony of an overcomer

The blight of pornography that has gripped this nation has included the church among its casualties, my husband being one. This problem is seldom discussed, particularly in the church, leaving couples with no idea how to navigate this minefield and still thrive in their Christian walk. While groups for deliverance exist for men, their wives remain the forgotten victims, greatly affected and left to suffer in silence without knowing where to turn. They are left feeling the shame of the sin and the weight of their helplessness.

While I have taken pains to ensure my words were seasoned with grace, the subject is unavoidably gritty. Drawing entirely on the Holy Spirit for help, I have remained married for 28 years with no animosity or unforgiveness towards my husband, my marriage is stronger than ever, and I am thriving as an overcomer as my husband is being delivered.
