At the foot of an enormous stone, a gathering of bird watchers, two men and five ladies equipped with optics and cameras, remained in consideration of a bird roosted on top of a tree. Caroline Meade, a youthful and blonde, pants, white sweater and softened cowhide coat, her brilliant hair pulled back in a long twist, had recently revealed a heavenly example of Hermit Thrush.
