Astra is a 10 year old Alphan girl, the youngest of sextuplets born to Moma Bara, the elected Supreme Leader of the Alphas. Despite difficulties posed by the opposition, and antagonistic elements within the High Council, Moma Bara governs Alpha wisely, with the aid of the Prime Intelligence, who is a wonderful combination of animal and machine. Alpha is shadowed by a powerful and corrupt planet: Megalatta. The king of Megalatta, Megalon, invades Alpha Centari Bb to steal the Alpha's food, Bagaloo. This magical dish can change into any food you desire, and the evil leader is eager to get his hands on it. When his plan is thwarted by Astra, it sparks a feud that will span the galaxy. During a fierce battle Megalon is killed, and Astra is assassinated soon after, however both survive these attacks, using rejuvenation processes. Many years later they meet again on Earth, with dramatic consequences...
