awesome book, we need to know our priorities

this is an awesome book. i was challenged to share my faith with others. i became a christian 9 years ago after a life with lots of drug and alchohol abuse. i used to love reading about world religions and mythologies. like most americans who never read or study a bible, i assumed i knew what christianity was about. when i started to study the bible i was blown away! my preconcieved ideas were way off. there really is a God who loves us and knows us, and is passionate in His desire to lead us and have a real relationship with us. i say, this is a GREAT read for any believer! we need to know our God, we need to have a reverent "fear" of the Lord. this book will challenge anyone who calls themself a believer to think about how "real" their walk with the Lord is. if we know Jesus as our friend and savior, of course we should have a passion to tell others about their creator as well. easy to read book. i am actually a waiter in a hotel who has servered this author several times. i knew his name and looked him up on the internet. i figured this guy is always a pleasure to see, i wonder what he does for a living. well, it makes sence! his life is a reflection of the spirit in him. i look forward to seeing him again, and telling him i've read two great books of his.
