This book is good for school-age English Language Learners (ELLs). The illustrations, map, glossary, and patterned text provide context which clarifies the text. The repetition of the question, "What would be higher?" makes it easy for beginners. It is rare to find books with easy English about an academic subjects for school-age beginner ELLs and this is one.
