A Fantastic Buy!!

What Your Birthday Reveals about You by Phyllis Vega is a fantastic book talking about the characteristics of people born on each of the 366 days of the year, including February 29 for leap years. The book is divided into three sections. The first talks about each of the twelve zodiacs, the second discusses the nine numbers of birthdays, and the third lists all 366 days and personality traits. Section one covers the basic information of all 12 zodiacs, the planet who rules the sign, the symbol, color, metal and gemstone for the sign. Vega also writes about the relationship traits for each sign, ands the myth corresponding with it. The second section talks about the numbers corresponding with birthdays. The numbers range from 1 to 9 and it's easy to find which number you are. My birthday is on the 10th. To find my number, add the first and second digits, which are 1 and 0, thus my number is 1. My sisters birthday is on the 25th, thus she is a 7. Vega writes about the traits of each number, and what the personalities of the numbers are. The third and final section lists all 365 days. As with the previous sections Vega writes about the traits of people born on each of the 366 days. She also lists famous people born on the same day, and international events that happen. What I love about this book is that all three sections connect well together. Generally, I start out by reading about the number associated with a birthday, than the astrological sign, then lastly the day of the year information.

birthday fun

I purchased this book as entertainment for myself and as a coffee table book. When I had house guests they had a lot of fun looking at their birthdays and those of friends. In fact two of them ordered books for themselves. We found the birthday descriptions of traits, etc right on about 60-70% of the time. In any case the descriptions created a lot of discussion. Very enjoyable.

Pure enjoyment.

Fun to read for accurate, uncanny astrological revelations. I found this to be quite the conversation piece. While browsing through, me and my best friend had such a blast we both purchased copies on the spot. Recommended purchase even for those not really into astrology.

Uncanny, Unbelievable Accuracy

I had skimming this book at Barnes and Noble in Henderson, NV. I put it down and got home remembering what it said about my birthdate. Its very accurate, told me I was a journalist or should go into this field. Well, I am a writer. It went on to say I'm very strong willed about my passion and belief, I'm a Democrat and Activist. Do I think this is a good book, I'd say it was the best purchase you'd make. I reviewed my family members, friends and co-workers, its AMAZING. BUY!

A Lively Guide Pairing Numerology and Astrology

"Your birthday is more than just the day of the year you were born. Each day in the yearly cycle in its distinct vibrations and contains its own unique characteristics. The influence of your day of birth is one of the dynamics that distinguishes you from other people. It's a defining factor in who you are and who you hope to become." - From the book A New Age counselor for over 30 years, author Phyllis Vega has provided seekers with exciting, practical information in books like Power Tarot, Celtic Astrology, and Your Magickal Name. In What Your Birthday Reveals About You, Vega applies her extensive knowledge of numerology and astrology to create 366 distinct profiles for each day of the year. A lively, up-to-date guide to self-awareness, this book is divided into three sections: Part One covers the 12 signs of the Zodiac, including a relevant mythological tale conveying the symbolic meaning of the sign, Character and Personality, and Relationships. Part two explains the nine basic numbers of numerology, and the profiles for each of these root numbers. Part three, the 366 birthdays of the year, gives a comprehensive reading for each birth date. Each birthday profile contains insight on fostering natural abilities in challenging in meaningful ways, as well as noteworthy birthdays and observances associated with that day. Melding numerology and astrology, Vega paints 366 fascinating portraits that reveals secrets and highlights strengths, revealing accurate personality quirks, motivations, preferences, and paths to fulfillment. My birthday is November 6, and I found my profile to be eerily accurate. Here is a portion of what Vega writes for this profile: "The charming, gregarious, and seemingly easy-going outer façade of those celebrating birthdays today camouflages as a tougher, more intense inner nature. You actually are all that you seen--idealistic, judicious, fair-minded, and honorable. But there is a part of you that his shrewd, secretive, and mistrustful of the motives of others. Moreover, you refuse to settle for quick answers or superficial assessments. You want to believe in the goodness of humanity, so you optimistically hope for the best. However, you've seen too much of the dark side of human nature not to be prepared for the worst." My husband, a fellow Scorpio, was born on October 27. Two plus seven equals nine, so his numerical vibration for that day is nine. However I've never found the nine profile to describe him accurately in ANY numerology text. Nines are usually characterized as ambitious go getters and compassionate crusaders, and Vega highlights this in her October 27 profile. As a result, his profile is mostly inaccurate. However, in addition to the incredible accuracy of my own profile, my dad's profile (July 11) was also quite accurate. The author mentions how these ones side step conflict with aplomb and make great managers. My Dad has served as a manager in several jobs, and he does indeed retreat into
