Exceptional Half-time Huddle for Real Women!

This book is about reality. It's for women who are at half-time in the game of life. Ms. Poinsett speaks truth to Real Women (those who are wise enough to want to hear truth - you know, the truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable). It's not about having teas, playing a role, worrying about what others think, or pretending things are okay when they're not. It's about being real, finding truth, being who you really are, and discovering what your purpose is for the second half of your life. Whether you're 40, 50, or 60, you will be shortchanged if you don't read this book. There's something special about the way it is written...it's as if you're hearing a wise friend share what she's learned, and she has your best interest at heart. The author shares what she's learned from other women's lives and circumstances, as well as her own. I didn't have a wise or positive female role model growing up, and I've never been this old before, so this book gave me invaluable insight. I recommend this book for women's small groups, as well, and it includes discussion questions in the back for each week. If only I'd had a similar book for the first half! Truly...everything you need to know to have a strong finish.
