Celebrate Wisdom that Comes with Age

What an inspiring, redemptive book! Society may spurn aging, but this book embraces it with short, easy-to-read snippets written by a variety of honest, revealing, wise women. If you're turning - or over 50 - celebrate . . . and do so with this book or give it to someone as a 50th birthday gift! Great read!

Uplifting and encouraging, each of the personal stories in this book is a blessing to any woman, no matter the age. Highly recommended.

Fifty is fabulous, no doubt about it

Lucinda McDowell rounds up stories of what life after fifty can be; not only purposeful, but filled with new adventures. It's all in the attitude with which we approach each season of life. Each story is inspiring--with Biblical wisdom--from authors who know how to tell a good story. It's a great book to take on vacation, to soak up a bit each day. I've given several to friends for their big milestone birthday.

Fifty is Fabulous!

?WHAT WE'VE LEARNED SO FAR According to popular author Lucinda (Cindy) Secrest McDowell and friends (favorite Christian women leaders in America), turning fifty need not be a fearful event; it can be a fabulous epiphany! In What We've Learned So Far, these amazing authors share their discovery: Entering one's sixth decade may be the end of youth, but it is not the end of life; it's the beginning of real living. There is tremendous freedom in simply accepting our years and being ourselves as creative, compassionate, and courageous women of God. With His help, it's possible to age with grace and (as Southern Cindy likes to observe) with "grit." Indeed, these stories get down to the nitty gritty of what it means to thrive through the challenges of life, both with softness and strength. If these women have learned this much so far, there's no stopping them for the next fifty years! If you want to grow in grace, age with agility, and lilt with laughter along the way, this book is for you! -Lynn D. Morrissey, author of Love Letters to God: Deeper Intimacy through Written Prayer and AWSA/CLASS speaker
