Through the canonical and apocryphal gospels, however, such a biography did not become a complete record of Jesus' life until the late first century CE. Historical knowledge of the pre-Christian roots of Rabbinic Judaism, along with which early Christianity developed in the late 1st and 2nd centuries AD. C. before finally striking out on its own course, it is almost as mixed.
