Not very good condition

This is an outstanding book, but it was labeled “very good” condition, which I have come to expect to mean a very clean copy that barely looks used at all. This book has a lot of highlighting, markings and underlining on every one of the first 50 pages, plus several pages that are marked with scotch tape. I feel it was mislabeled.

Love this book!

Unlike other Bible handbooks this gives you a different insight into the books of the Bible! I love this book and use it frequently! It really helped in my research on Esther!

Excellent explanation to the Bible

This book is an excellent description of each book in the Bible within about ten pages per book. It explains concepts that would otherwise go unnoticed. I am using this book for my Sunday school teachers, who are excited to be able to get a better understandng of the Bible, a long with some of my 11th and 12th grade youth who want to learn more. This is one book that you will be glad you purchased.

Great little book

Front cover says it is a Bible handbook but it is also like a commentary. I like it as a study guide as I am reading the bible. It give an excellent overview of every book in the Bible. A very user friendly book to help you understand the Bible. I like it. Check it out and I think you will want to add it to your collection.

Excellent! Easy to read. Full of Wonderful Insights!

This is the best layman's Bible study book I've ever read. It is packed full of amazing insights, and it shows how the individual books of the Bible all fit together to complement each other and emphasize certain basic themes. My suggestion is: READ THIS BOOK. It will change the way you think about the Bible.

This is an overview of the Bible, kept interesting by Ms. Mears down-to-earth writing style. She has sprinkled enough "tidbits" thoughout the chapters to make the Biblical characters come to life and give the reader new insights into this Most Holy of Books.
