What Science Really Says About God and the Supernatural

By Shawn Adair Johnston

Regarding your life and your brief existence on Earth, is that all there is? If you have ever felt that there is more here than an exclusively physical reality, you may be surprised to discover that scientific data from astronomy, quantum physics, biology, neuropsychology and cosmology actually confirms your intuition. With unusual clarity and humor, Dr. Shawn Adair Johnston reveals the utter failure of current science, based on an exclusively physical model of the universe, to account for the origin of the cosmos, human DNA, consciousness, free will or criminal behavior. Whether the Judeo-Christian idea of God or the Buddhist concept of the life activating force, Johnston demonstrates how the presence of a supernatural agency better explains scientific research data than does a purely materialist perspective. The existence of a multidimensional universe, rooted in quantum mechanics and cosmology, actually implies the presence of supernatural forces, providing insight into the nature of the soul, good versus evil and possibly even resurrection or reincarnation. Indeed, the existence of a multidimensional universe can as readily include what we might call heaven and hell as it does alternate planets and galaxies. For readers who crave knowledge regarding the how and why of our existence, Johnston has prepared for you an intellectual feast whose breadth, depth and clarity will satisfy your deepest hunger.
