great book for beginning and pre-readers

This book is great for phonemic awareness (a skill that is vital to learning how to read). It's fun to guess what letters/pictures are hiding under the flaps. Kids learn while having fun! The best way!

What Rhymes With Eel?

This book is an excellent way to introduce rhyming to children. Studies show that the ability to identify and create rhymes is important to learning to read successfully. I use this book every year in my kindergarten classroom. Is there any way to encourage publishers to keep it in print?
