What Renaissance?: A New Beginning

I wrote this book out of extreme frustration at the state of affairs on this planet. From our fragile and unsustainable food, water and energy supplies, to the brutality of so many governments, our leaders have failed us. Our standard of living, our freedoms and our infrastructure are all in decline. We can not borrow, imprison and invade our way out of this. We are allowing a small group of incredibly short sighted people to do this to us. The only power they have to continue as our incompetent rulers, is our acceptance. The changes advocated here may seem outrageous and unattainable. I see them as simply a change in attitude from the irrational and intolerant, to common sense and compassion. The human race has had great difficulty in making this transition. It does not come easily to our flawed species. Still our incredible potential, a golden age of mankind, is achievable now.
