This is one of the best and most helpful books I have read in a long time. Fran wrote from the heart. I have purchased 4 already and will probably buy a few more. One for me and 3 for family. You don't have to be a "pet" lover to enjoy this book.. I laughed, cried and felt so good while reading it.. In fact I read it all one evening and night. I could not put it down until I finished it.. Thanks Fran can't wait till your next book comes out.

First I'd like to thank God for writers like Fran Wood who can take such a sweet story and reveal the hard truth about our walk with God. As a Christ follower I could identify with so many stories this book covers concerning grief, love of family, family dynamics, nursing homes, and generally hitting rock bottom. Thank you Bandit for all your antics and mischief! While reading the book I kept looking at you on the front cover and wished I could hug you! Thank you Fran Wood for allowing me a chance to look into your personal spaces and live through some of the tragedy you've endured. May God richly bless you and your husband Jim. I feel like I know you! Many of your family members remind me a lot of my own. Finally, thanks for the nostalgia of small town living. I know much about Fitzgerald, Ga. myself.
