What Makes a Marriage Work is very funny but also insightful. I read it once just looking at the New Yorker cartoons then I read it cover to cover. A great gift for an anniversary or wedding shower. As the author of several books about family issues - including the suicide of my seventeen year old son - it's nice to read about a relationship that has survived for fifty years and one that produces humor, as well as love. An easy to read, delightful ,and inspiring book

I found this book to be inspiring, funny and full of good information on how to not only survive, but thrive while involved in a long term relationship.
